Motherhood is a journey best walked alongside others

As we enter matrescence — the unfolding transition into motherhood — we were meant to learn from and with others who have walked the path of motherhood before us. Our moms, aunts, sisters, grandmothers, and fellow community members. But not everyone has these built-in supports. That's why the Mother Era community is here for you.

Experience

Hi, I'm Rivkah, your support along this journey

I’m honored to walk beside you in this season of becoming. For more than twenty years, I’ve supported mothers through pregnancy and postpartum. This passage into motherhood, called matrescence, is sacred. It reshapes identity, and it deserves gentle, steady care.

The moment that changed everything

Years ago, with four little ones under six, I found myself overwhelmed — one baby crying, three hungry little ones, and me in tears on the couch, wishing I could be fully present for them all.

Then something shifted.

I was overcome with a knowing that my tears and my overwhelm were actually the cause of my baby’s restlessness. I took one deep breath, and my baby softened with me. We co-regulated.

In that quiet moment, I understood: when mothers find calm within the chaos, our babies — and our bodies — can feel it too. That truth became the foundation of my work.

Why Mother Era?

Pregnancy, birth, and new motherhood aren’t separate chapters — they’re one continuous journey. I created Mother Era to honor that wholeness, offering support that is gentle, practical, and lovingly woven into everyday life.

What I bring to the table

Training: Master’s in Social Work + Graduate Certificate in Infant‑Family Mental Health

Lived experience: Mother of five; two decades supporting new moms

Approach: Micro‑regulation rituals, bite‑size prompts, and compassionate community—so you can feel calmer, more capable and less alone

FAQs

Not sure if this is right for you? Unsure where to start? Your most likely questions are answered below.
(For everything else, reach out by email or schedule a free clarity call!)

Who is Mother Era for?

Mother Era is specifically designed to provide support for expecting and new mothers, especially the last trimester through the first three months postpartum. Further along and still needing calm support? You’re welcome, too.

Do I need to be in my third or fourth trimester to join?

No! If you are navigating pregnancy or postpartum, we would love to connect with you.

What is matrescence?

It's the unfolding transition into motherhood, including the physical, emotional, social, and identity changes you'll go through over time.

What if I miss a live community session?

Replays are posted, and key prompts are shared in the community. You can also submit questions ahead of time.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime from your account.

Do you offer one-off coaching sessions?

Most people benefit most from a 3‑month container with weekly sessions. If you have specific needs, set up a free clarity call and we'll see what makes the most sense for your situation.

If I sign up for a Personal Support package, how long do I have to use my sessions?

Sessions are meant to be used weekly for 3 months, but life happens! I know you may not be able to make every weekly session, and that's okay. This whole process is about learning to be gentle with yourself and respect the transition you're in. So, you'll have 12 months to use your sessions as you see fit.

Is this therapy or medical care?

Mother Era is for non-medical support purposes only and does not replace professional medical advice. If you have concerns about your mental or physical health, please consult a qualified provider or reach out to Postpartum Support International (PSI) Hotline by calling or texting "Help" to 800-944-4773

Can my partner join a session?

Yes, partners are welcome to Personal Support sessions with advance notice, however the membership platform is a private space for members.
